Aubrey's First 3 Months
This little girl, I must say I have a soft spot for her and her family! I was hired by her parents to capture her birth and while that didn't go quite as planned I was there for a lot of her momma's labor. I got to see her in the hospital while she was still brand spankin' new. I have done her newborn pictures and now her 3 month pictures. She is just too stinking cute and sweet.
As for her parents... Ashley and Coby work so very hard to make this little girl happy. I watched them go from two people in a hospital bed holding hands.....
to nervous new parents....
to a happy little family.
All in three short months. I cannot wait to watch this little girl grow up big and happy!
Isn't she a pretty girl? I cannot wait until my next session with her!
I will admit I was a little nervous the day before this session when Amber contacted me and said that Aiyanna had been very fussy lately. That she was crossing her fingers that she was a happy baby for her session.
Newborn sessions are a serious work of love. These tiny new humans while adorable and perfectly squishy are quite unpredictable. Which can make this type of session difficult. That is why newborn sessions take so long. There has to be time for feedings, lovin', clean ups, and a lot of patience for posing.
Not this session. This session was a breeze. Amber and Aiyanna showed up and little A was calm and content. While she was awake during some of the session she was perfectly happy. This session went by so quickly I was shocked.
I hope you all enjoyed little Aiyanna as much as I do!
Aiyanna: A Birth Story
Amber was induced on a Tuesday at midnight she labored for a long 36 hours before she got to meet her precious little Aiyanna. I swear every time I got a text I about jumped out of my skin with anticipation. Being induced is rough. It is hard on your body and it takes a long time. But sometimes they are medically necessary and that was the case with Amber. She stayed so positive though. Every time I talked to her she was in a good place.
Aiyanna was born on August 20th at 11:41a.m. weighing 6 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20 and a one half inches long.
Here are some of my favorites from their birth story.
I hope you all enjoyed this birth story as much as I did.
I am a mom and a photographer. My love of motherhood led me to photograph all things from bellies to birth and beyond.
